Rouzbeh N Elahi

Rouzbeh qualified as a dentist from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden in 2001. He worked for the first few years in Stockholm which was in a private dental setting. He was also actively involved in oral and maxillofacial research projects at Karolinska Institute.

After moving to Colchester in 2003 he started working in a busy practice in Essex. In 2004, Rouzbeh started working at Orthoworld where he continued to work until 2012.

Rouzbeh has established and built up practices in Suffolk since 2006 and has been at the Perfect Smile Clinic since 2009.

In 2011 he obtained the Diploma in the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. He also attended numerous courses in Orthodontics over a 3 year period.

Rouzbeh is passionate about Smile Design and Cosmetic Dentistry with Orthodontics and Invisalign as a complement to reaching the best result for his patients.

In 2012 Rouzbeh started studying law and in 2016 he completed his post-graduate law degree and is continuing a side by side interest in law and dentistry. This led him to work at the CAB in Sudbury part-time during 2013.

Rouzbeh’s vision of dentistry is an ethical and patient focused care where it is the patient’s interest and need that guides the treatment plan.

He is also involved with a dental charity, The Dental Mavericks, traveling to Morocco and providing urgent dental care for Children in the Rif mountains.

When Rouzbeh is not working or studying he spends time with his wife Sanaz and two girls. He plays tennis and attends yoga classes, but has a long way to go when it comes to the latter.

Sami Namazy

Dr Sami Namazy is a highly experienced dentist in Sudbury and Principal Dentist at Perfect Smile Clinic. He qualified with a DDS from Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2006, and later achieved an MSc with Distinction in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from Manchester, UK, in 2015.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Namazy provides high-quality, patient-centred dentistry with a particular focus on aesthetic dentistry and restorative treatments. He is passionate about helping patients achieve natural-looking, confident smiles while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

Sanaz Namazy

Sanaz Namazy is a highly experienced dentist in Sudbury, Suffolk, who qualified from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2001. Following graduation, she worked in Stockholm, where she treated patients with complex treatment needs as well as urgent dental trauma and pain.

In 2003, Sanaz moved to the UK and began working in a busy dental practice in Essex, where she expanded her clinical experience in both NHS and private dentistry. Between 2009 and 2011, she worked part time at OrthoWorld in Chelmsford where she gained experience in orthodontics and the effects of teeth on facial proportions.

Sanaz has extensive experience as a principal dentist and has owned and managed multiple dental practices across Suffolk, including in Ipswich, Mildenhall, and Stowmarket.

Since 2014, Sanaz has been working at Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, where she provides a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, and smile makeovers.

Sanaz has a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative treatments. She completed a postgraduate course in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry in 2015 and continues to attend advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern techniques.

Sanaz was also among the first practitioners trained in facial aesthetics using Restylane (Q-Med, 2003) and has since completed numerous advanced courses in facial aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.

Dr Nami Farkhondeh

Nami is an experienced periodontist and implant dentist at Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, Suffolk, with over 25 years of expertise in gum disease treatment, dental implants, and oral surgery.

After qualifying from The Royal London Hospital in 1996, he pursued extensive postgraduate training, gaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS RCPS). He later completed a Masters degree (MSc) in Periodontology at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, one of the UK’s leading centres for specialist dental training. He subsequently obtained a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in London.Nami previously taught postgraduate dentists in periodontology and implant dentistry for 4–5 years. He continues to contribute to education as an occasional examiner on Diploma-level implant dentistry courses.

Dr Daryoush Elmiyeh

Dr. Daryoush Elmiyeh is a highly experienced Specialist Orthodontist at Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, providing expert orthodontic treatment to patients of all ages. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve straighter, healthier smiles through personalised, high-quality care.

Mr Sarabjit Nandhra

Mr Nandhra is an award-winning Consultant Orthodontist, now seeing patients at Perfect Smile Clinic. He offers a full range of treatments, including Invisalign aligners, clear cosmetic braces, metal braces, and functional appliances, helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.

In addition to his role at Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, Mr Nandhra is a Consultant Orthodontist for Chelmsford and Southend Hospital Trusts, where he provides care for patients requiring complex treatment. He has a particular interest in hypodontia and dentofacial deformities.Known for his honest, caring, and patient-focused approach, Mr Nandhra enjoys working with patients of all ages and ensuring a comfortable experience throughout their orthodontic journey.

He is also a guest lecturer at the Royal London Hospital, where he is passionate about training the next generation of orthodontists.

Outside of work, Mr Nandhra enjoys spending time with his two young children.

Amanda May

Amanda, or Mandie as she is more commonly known, began her career in dentistry in 1981 as a dental nurse and she particularly enjoyed working in oral surgery and spent two years working at Barnet General Hospital, where she was working alongside dentists, Senior House Officers and maxillofacial consultants. After returning to work at a dental practice based in London, she worked her way up to become Practice Manager and looked after a great team of dentists and nurses for ten years.

Mandie moved to Sudbury ten years ago and became a mum for the third time. After a short career break she decided she would like to take her career in a new direction and qualified as a community support worker. Mandie is now back in dentistry and enjoying work on reception and helping our new patients to feel welcome and at ease. Mandie also enjoys making sure that our existing patients are happy with their visit to our practice. Mandie is always on hand to answer and listen to any queries or suggestions they may have.

She really enjoys being part of an amazing family-based dental practice. She has formed close relationships with her colleagues both inside and outside of her working environment. Mandie is a mum to three children and she has one lovely granddaughter and in her spare time she enjoys musical theatre weekends away with family. Mandie also enjoys her holidays in the sun!

Jennifer King

Jennifer, or Jenny as she is more commonly known, qualified as a dental hygienist at the University of Essex in 2013. Prior to this, Jenny worked as dental nurse for 12 years. She enjoys educating and motivating her patients to improve their oral hygiene.

Outside of work, she has recently moved home with her husband and two children and is about to embark on an exciting renovation project.

Monika Synowiec

Monika qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014. She joined the team at Perfect Smile Clinic in 2022 after graduating from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.

Before moving into dental hygiene, Monika completed studies in Physiotherapy in Poland, followed by a First-Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing in England. Her varied clinical background has helped shape her patient-centred and gentle approach to care.

Monika has provided dental hygiene services across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk for many years and regularly undertakes postgraduate training to further develop her skills and knowledge.She also has a strong interest in dental and facial aesthetics, gaining additional qualifications in lip filler masterclasses, advanced skin care, WOW Facials and Sunekos. Monika is also certified in whitening treatments.

Known for her warm, calm and clinical approach, Monika is committed to helping patients improve their oral health and smile with confidence.

Outside of work, she enjoys keeping fit, travelling and spending quality time with her family.

Elizabeth Ikuesan

Elizabeth is a dedicated Orthodontic Therapist at Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, with a strong passion for orthodontics and teeth straightening. She began her career as a dental nurse in 2015, where she developed valuable experience in patient care, clinical support, and oral hygiene.

Elizabeth furthered her training at Bristol University Dental Hospital and, in 2019, proudly qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She also holds a dental radiography qualification, achieved in 2018.

At Perfect Smile Clinic in Sudbury, Elizabeth works closely with NHS patients, providing high-quality orthodontic treatment using fixed metal braces and DAMON fixed brace systems. She is committed to delivering excellent patient care and ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Elizabeth has a growing interest in private orthodontic care and is keen to expand her expertise in clear aligner treatments, including Invisalign, Angel Aligners, and Spark Aligners. She is passionate about continuing professional development and staying at the forefront of modern orthodontic solutions.

Outside of the clinic, Elizabeth enjoys trekking, ice skating, spending time with family and friends, and is currently learning to play the piano.

Lauren McCartney

Lauren began her dental nursing career in 2009 as a trainee and then qualified early in 2011. She then joined the Perfect Smile Clinic Ltd in March 2014. She works closely alongside our Dentist with Special Interest, Dr Anil Katechia, and general dentist Ana Pinto. She enjoys all aspects of general and specialised dentistry. But she particularly enjoys cosmetic work and the reward of seeing her patients smile with confidence and leave with their “perfect smile”.

Outside of work, Lauren loves to care for and ride her horse Benny, enjoys going out with friends and her work colleagues. She enjoys attending festivals and live comedy shows!

Sian Creighton

Sian joined the Perfect Smile Clinic Ltd team as a trainee dental nurse in September 2015 and is currently undertaking her apprenticeship in dental nursing at Colchester Institute.

After 8 years of working as an administrator, she decided that she would like to change direction in her career. Sian though it would be best to build upon her existing skills in a more practical role.

Sian works alongside Principle Dentist Doctor Sami Namazy and dental hygienist Emma McNally. She enjoys all aspects of dental nursing. But is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry, hygiene and dental therapy.

In the future, she would like to study oral health science at university. And also take on additional dental nurse duties including: dental sedation nursing, dental implant nursing, oral health education, and fluoride application.

Outside of work, Sian enjoys yoga and Zumba classes, music, swimming and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also has a keen interest in diet and nutrition and is currently completing a distance learning course in Nutritional Therapy.

Sam Cousins

Sam started her career at the practice in 2006 where she trained and then qualified in 2009. She has been at the practice for 14 years and enjoys all aspects of her job but has a particular interest in orthodontic treatment using Invisalign. She has recently trained to use the iTero Scanner which creates a digital 3D map of your teeth. Sam also completed her SAAD national course in conscious sedation in 2018.

She works closely alongside principle dentist Dr Rouzbeh Elahi, who have been working together for 8 years. Sam feels very proud to be part of such an amazing team, we are a family practice, and our aim is to make everyone feel welcome and at ease when they visit the practice.

Outside of work Sam is a married mother of two girls and has a 10-year-old miniature schnauzer. She also enjoys fitness, holidays and spending time with friends and family.

Kayleigh Walls

Kayleigh started dental nursing in 2012 and joined the Perfect Smile Clinic in 2019. Kayleigh has worked in many dental practices and is happy to find a team that’s like a family. A friendly face and loves welcoming patients with a smile. Outside of work, Kayleigh loves to draw and design wall stickers for her online art shop. In her spare time she’s always out for walkies with her rescue border collie Matilda

Emily Webster

Emily has been dental nursing for over 10 years and joined Perfect Smile Clinic in August 2020. Emily has a wide range experience within the dental field and has a passion for specialised dentistry including minor oral surgery, implants and sedation. Emily works in both areas of our dental practice, nursing offering chair side assistants to our dentists and also at reception dealing and helping with patients queries and questions. Outside of work Emily enjoys being with her family and friends.

Julie Smith

Julie has had quite a varied career, but when she began working in dentistry over twenty years ago she felt that she had found her niche.

She began her career in dentistry working as a receptionist at a mixed practice in Essex, which was local and fitted perfectly into her life as a working mum. She soon realised that she loved being front of house as she considered herself to be a people person and enjoyed interacting with the patients.

After her daughters left home, she joined a private practice in Harley Street, where the patients were either celebrities or dignitaries. She found this fun, and continued to learn more about what it takes to be a good receptionist.

Julie then moved to Sudbury nearly three years ago when her husband took early retirement.

She decided to work part time and joined the Perfect Smile Clinic Ltd. in 2014 where she felt welcomed from the beginning and has since made firm friends with her colleagues.

Julie is very passionate about patient care and she feels she works best in a busy environment where her day is full, varied and challenging.

The Perfect Smile Clinic Ltd. has a team of amazing dentists and she feels that part of her job is to make sure that their day runs as smoothly as possible, enabling the dentists to give their patients their full attention.

She is proud to be a member of a great team and would recommend the practice to any new patients that may wish to join.

Julie is a married mother of two grown up daughters and has eight grand children; she feels at her happiest when she is with her family.

She absolutely loves music and enjoys attending live shows and events.

On her bucket list, she would like to go to the Niagara Falls and to visit Blackpool to see Joe Longthorne perform live.
