They are made to move all kinds of smiles. Invisalign provide a series of aligners which are made for you as an individual. These aligners are virtually ‘invisible’.
Are braces right for me?
Straightening your teeth through orthodontic work (braces) could have a very good impact on your overall dental health. With straightened teeth, there is less risk for tooth decay and gum disease alongside good oral hygiene. Your dentist will be able to help you with your query.
What’s the process?
- The first step is a consultation appointment with one of our dentists that are familiar with Invisalign. At this consultation appointment, you will be presented with entire treatment options for your desired results. All options presented will be followed with a brief explanation of how the process works, what’s involved and the costs. Once you have decided to go ahead with treatment, you will need to undergo a series of x-rays and impressions to be sent to Invisalign to create your digital treatment plan.
- You will be emailed your digital treatment plans and you will then be able to give us the go ahead to receive the aligners. These are made for your mouth only. We use a series of small cosmetic fillings to help ‘lock’ the aligners into place and allow your teeth to move accordingly.
- Then for the results! You will then come back every six to eight weeks, depending on you as an individual.
